Here are this mornings readings using a different Code reader. Again the readings are variable in live data. So why do people report a zero pressure at cold start what am I missing.

The technical manual says that one of the PCV (Pressure Control Valve on the end of the fuel rail) functions is and I quote: "during engine shutdown to progressively collapse fuel rail pressure". And if you look closely, the return from the PCV is behind that 10 bar valve on the injectors return lines, so some pressure remains, but only on the injectors returns. I remember a discussion on the Russian forum about the necessity of that valve on the injectors return. Some say that it is not necessary and went up to the point of eliminating it. The result was the engine was running fine without it, but sometimes, starting was difficult. This is why I've suggested to verify it (LR008711)... But I may be wrong... |

Hi all, It’s a hell of a long topic to read through, have you tried putting your battery on a trickle charge overnight so you’ve maximum cold cranking amps CCA being delivered on start up, also is your battery the correct amp per hour, we had a snow blower doing exactly the same as your problem and it was the batteries although they were new they were not up to the mark so too much voltage drop on start up, do you think the starter could be drawing to much current when start up from cold?
