I must admit to some trepidation as my Freelander has been virtually trouble free - only had a seat cover replaced under warranty then a throttle body last year ( I have replaced the gears on the one that came off and will ebay it when the car goes) and 4 road springs. Other than that I have serviced the car myself with everything except the timing belt as my strength is not what it was. Nothing in the current Landrover line up took my fancy so opted for the Tesla. Electric is perfect for my current needs with just me and my dog on runs to the east coast.
I hope the model Y is as good for you as your freelander has been
Most problems stem from the fact they don't perform a PDI so you may find a few jobs need sorting at first but after that they are usually very reliable
I hope you post up a review when you get it and I may see you on the other side in the owners group
