I intend to have a full service plus all oils changed about March.

All the years with my Disco2 i never bought cheap and usually middle of the road prices, unless only LR available.
What do you all recommend?
I do think Taggarts are over the top, according to their parts guy, no service kit, had to add up all the filters separately.
My preference at moment is Paddocks OEM kit.
Look forward to the many and varied answers i will get.

Presumably you will carry out the service yourself?
If so, around £70 for service items (genuine) is a no brainer!

AT, no unfortunately as i am now 80 and not fit enough to crawl under cars i get my work done by my local garage.
I will buy my own spares and they will fit them. Long standing arrangement.
Had the car 6 months, two clean health checks , one by Taggarts Landrover who did an oil and filter change with their winter deal.
I just want to start from a straight line with a full service, including engine oil and filter, fuel filter, auto oil change and haldex oil change.
Beginning to enjoy car but will always miss my Disco2.
Thanks to all for the various recommendations.
Will decide quite soon and possible get it done in February.

i have had mine for 2 months and brought from non LR garage.
No evidence of cambelt and water pump being done so got them to agree as part of purchase to carry this out using genuine parts (i agreed to pay difference between non genuine and genuine but they did the work for no labour costs) , i then had LR carry out oil, fuel, pollen and air filter service so like you i start ownership knowing what has been done. So next oil/oil filter service i will do using genuine parts.
i will get independent to change gearbox oil and haldex next year.

one of the reasons i bought this car was a big folder of all repairs and servicing with the car.
Cambelt and pump-done
Autobox-done
Haldex overhauled
New pads and siscs dpne.
Very clean.
Taggarts cost for oil and filter change and health check was £149.--good deal i thought

^^^Don't forget the gear oil changes for the front PTU and the rear diff. Haldex oil and filter change too while you are at it(s/b a regular maintenance item).

As i said before, i am now 80 and this will probably be the last car i buy.
Hopefully get a few good years left in me yet.
