My mate still drives with sidelights on only. I swear he thinks his car still has a dynamo. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

I was out with the Mother-in-law the other day, going to pick up the motorbike from the bike shop, and yes she was on sidelights as always.
I pointed out that I would be riding a motorcycle in the rain, it's like driving a car without wipers, and breathing on the windscreen from 2 inches without any way of demisting and that I wouldn't stand a chance of seeing poorly lit vehicles. Light-bulb moment - the headlights were not for her to see with, but so that others could see her.

There is a place in hell reserved for motorists who ride around with rear fog lights on when it is drizzling at night. Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her

some years ago, one member put bulbs into the rear lamp cluster. Whilst these are not DRLs, they do give a red lamp to both side and rear. Wired up to ignition +ve feed from the boot fuse box.[/quote]

Yeah, that was Largered. Not seen him on here for around 2 years now. I hope he's alright. Knew him from the old Freelander Owners Club, back in the day.
