Have removed mine several times without removing the coolant hose. Admittedly it's fiddly but doable. Now at the point when I learn something new something old is lost out the other side !

Interesting, I tried for a while but couldn't seem to find a way, the fans were up against the trans cooler on one side and still no clearance for the coolant hose. I wonder if there were changes year to year that make different ones easier, I would imagine a manual would be straightforward as there's no trans cooler in the way. |

Not sure what motor yours is but mine is a 2009 diesel.

It is the auto gearbox cooler that is the problem. Gasman has a manual. I commented on this on another thread. Silver 2009 HSE |
