Yet another newbie, first posting is a question. Why don't newbies introduce themselves?

Some people just need a little help and advice with problems-particularly unusual faults like this one. There are a lot of very knowledgeable and helpful members. I have had FL2’s for about 10 years now and been a Freel 2 member for a lot longer than most on here. I can’t say I mind first posts being a question👍 |

My advice would be to first do a hard battery reset. You can do a search of the forum for the procedure and the right steps and timing. |

Yeah I will try that, have tried leaving the battery disconnected for a couple of hours though and that didn't help |

Try connecting a second earth cable from the battery to the starter motor.

I just want to put it out there that I’m no expert however on searching frantically when I had starting problems, it came to my attention that there is a bit of the wiring loom that runs under the airbox that due to vibrations causes the tape and then the wires to become exposed. It seems this can cause alsorts of issues such as starting problems. It could be worth checking there? |
