I think that’s to do with the auto transmission. |

@SYFL2, it is an auto gearbox warning, which is odd considering the OP says he has a manual gearbox! (Now Sold). 2008 Freelander 2 (Nazca Sand) SE TD4 Auto. Statutory write off & on WOVR for hail damage but still road legal.

Yeah it's a manual, which is why I was so confused - everything I can find online suggests it's an automatic transmission fault. It's still not come back on - was just on for 5 mins yesterday evening, so didn't get chance for a pic of the dash. |

Alex Pescaru posted all the handbooks I’ve been through all three and can’t find that symbol in any one of them. |

Thanks - I've scoured the handbooks / internet and can't find it anywhere. It shouldn't even have the symbol 😂 I'm 100% certain it was that one, though. |

The Ipack will be common for manual and automatic vehicles. It's also an electronic device, which can on occasion get a glitch, such a glitch could conceivably light up an irrelevant warning.

Being a manual, it means it only has to do with Haldex.

It is not unknown for Land Rover to use a light for something different. That one looks like a warning to be wary of Rotary International. Everyone can spread it - Anyone can catch it. Stay home - the life you save can be your own! |

Question was posted on Fixya site - seems to be down to a fault in the management / power train system, a sensor or software fault. Says engine might lose power but will continue; if light flashes to avoid heavy acceleration or deceleration. Technical assistance is advised |

I had this warning on my 2013 SD4 last week, called into my local indy garage and the LR specialist plugged in his code reader and no faults came up ! He said not to worry it happens sometimes and he'll have a good look when it is serviced in March MY 2013 SD GS Auto |
