Hi, am a new member here,
This may be a crazy post but my Freelander 2 has started to leak fuel when filling. when filling there is a continuous stream of dripping and when full the diesel run out from under the car by the fuel tank, it stops when it gets to a certain level.
My question is, how do I get into the fuel filler pipes to see where they are loose or broken.

I'm sure you have already thought of this - but in case not...

If you HAVE to drive this before fixed, please, please keep the tank at a level where it does not spill any diesel - it can be lethal for motorcyclists, especially on corners which is where you are more likely to be spilling. Preferably don't drive it at all.

Can't help with how to get access to check what is wrong I'm afraid but I'd have a scan through the service manual here - https://www.freel2.com/forum/topic10621.html kindly posted by Alex for the forum I don't know what year yours is but most things are the same through the FL2 production run, so for most things the fact that the manual is to 2010 only matters not (still on the look out for a manual that fully covers the facelift years though!)
