my hse stereo has a speaker there,when you press the sound adjust button on the left ,it gives options of adjusting that one,but mines a premium stereo. |

According to the handbook, I too have the premium audio unit.

MY10 GS had 9 speakers as standard. I guess that is 4 on either side and one in the boot but that really is a guess so you'll have to count them From the brochure…. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/fwsyx91fjag1s76...281_10.pdf

The speaker is there only if you have the speakers in the D pillars |

My 2007 GS does not have that speaker (base model radio).

I think you only have speaker there if you have surround sound. MY13 HSE LUX Aintree Green
