Thank you p_gill, I know MOST well because I used to work on several projects that also used it for distributing audio, our systems are not used in cars but in government buildings, stadiums, shopping centers, cruise ships etc. Loops in our systems are a lot longer than in cars.

Rob, Congratulations. I will give you my opinion about "I’ve left the loop on the Bluetooth will that be a problem?" 1. for my 2008 LR2 I disabled the Bluetooth Module back in august 2. I used a MOST loop, its still there today 3. And I disconnected the Grey (or is it Gray) wiring harness, its still disconnected today 4. My LR2 is very happy in this configuration, except the Bluetooth doesn't work The important step is #3 I did this because the module is always connected to the battery and it puts itself in a low power Sleep Mode. If the module is broken then it may not go into the sleep mode. This will be similar to a glove box light that doesn't turn off. If you drive for 30 minutes or more every day you won't notice anything but if you leave the LR2 for a week or two you may come back and it won't start due to a flat battery. For my LR2 I disconnected the Grey connector and installed the loop back Having said that it is you LR2 and you can do what you want. The connector that I am referring to can be seen in this picture it is next to the Orange fiber optic MOST connection (Both connections are connected to the Bluetooth Module in this picture)
Take care Paul |
