Today (well, Monday) I sold my beloved Si6. She was the smoothest, most refined car I've ever owned, better even than my old jags! I miss her already and one day, I'll get another.

It’s the 2m x 2m. The 2.5 is too long for it I believe.
Lightwater has the same I think

I seem to remember someone taking a length of aluminium 'U' channel and bending it to fit the contour of the roof line.
this was for the piping on an awning to attach to, looked very smart.
I'll see if I can dig out a photo.

found the photos.

you can make out the silver coloured channel on the roof line. Must have taken some bending to get it to follow the curves and the 'hip' in the rear roof.

........... not to mention the 'toboggan-run' looking down the channel.

(how do you even start to bend a one-off 'U' channel like that ???? incredible !!!

The latest FFRR 2022, has an option of an air-beam awning, which fits on the side of the vehicle.

2008 LR2 i6

Replaced my starter proactively today with this model bought from Amazon Canada from the same seller I found on Ebay:

I am so far quite pleased, this is a new starter. I will rebuild the original over the winter.

Changed the thermostat as engine was running cold. Noticed the old thermostat mech was at a funny angle in the housing. Cut open the housing and found that the mech had basically split in half. Relined the engine pan.

Running better and quieter. Corrado VR6 Mystic Blue - Gone
