I got a yellow fabric one from ebay. it has a steel frame inside but can fold down. zippered mesh doors on one side end and top. seems ok had it over a year. my dog goes in it most days.

i have just installed the cargo barrier today so i can stack stuff higher in the boot, at the top there is a gap that i would suspect a springer spaniel could find its way through, (My brothers dalmatian could fit through a gap smaller than that in his Volvo V50)

Thanks GC, I’ll have a look, just want something to put them in after we’ve been out and about and there wet and muddy. Its amazing how dog hair, sand and mud can migrate to the front of a vehicle

Made by a company called 'ferplast'. It's plastic so great for cleaning, also separates into two pieces which also helps with cleaning. It fits between the wheel arches (just), the luggage cover has to be removed

After some investigation I think I probably will get the dog guard and foldable dog kennel so I can stack stuff higher up. The devider makes me loose to much space.
