To all concerned:
Xenon-lighting requires in the european community an automatic hight adjustment plus headlamp washers, otherwise it is illegal. The adaptive bi-xenons as offered by Landrover as option do include autom. hight adjustment and washers, even though not explicit mentioned. But LR does also not mention that the basic
FL II includes a radio as the German price list only says "CD-player with 6 speakers".
On the other side, the price list in Germany includes in the basic E-model manual lumbar support for the drivers seat, but in fact this manual lumbar support is not included at all (only if you order the leather pack).
So Landrover is well advised to carfully re-work their catalouge and price list for the FL II at least in Germany in order to avoid law cases for unfair competition practice.

A look in the manual shows that Bi-Xenons do, indeed, have automatic levelling.
Perhaps retrofitting is not such a good idea then. Don`t drive faster than your angel can fly!

That's exactly why LR do not offer Xenon lights as a retro fitted option.
Anyway, thanks for your help. I will indeed try out the halogen ones first and taking in account some comments I wouldn't be surprised that those are good enough.

Paul, I have the HSE and due to timing of my FL1 dying on its arse had to take the showroom HSE with adaptive Xenons. Yes they give a blue cleaner light, compared to Halogen and yes you can see the beam change direction as you turn the wheel with the adaptive system, but was it really worth the money please do not expect me to answer that .....except for yes it is nice to tell your friends, but value for money, spend the extra on taking the wife away for a romantic weekend, you will enjoy it more......trust me, heated windscreen is more beneficial than Xenon headlights.
