Correct me if I am wrong then. The Planning Permissions for the Race Bank Wind Farm was discussed by my local council, who rubber stamped it. The statuary statement at the end of the application was supposed to detaii how, at the end of life, the windmill sites were to be returned back to their original natural state. That part of the application was stated, "To be discussed at some future time". So the life stated was twenty years, so in 2040, the windmills disappear, and all that huge lump of concrete, or whatever holds them up is left underwater for future archeologists to wonder what race of aliens buit this wonder!

Still lots of garages with no fuel, and long queues at those that do. Driven past a few today. |
