That sounds more like standard automatic quick getaway technique rather than launch control |

WGG1848 - just saw a link on landrovers site for 500 free places filled in my contact details and they rang to say i'd got 1. Apparently they are always doing it, you just need to keep checking the site.

Apparently sand mode makes it more exciting too, so I've read on here! I have a manual (and am not likely to switch to an auto before I'm ready for my pipe and slippers ) so haven't been able to try that out. - Dick |

This is covered on page 41 of the Handbook, however youngie's information is not quite correct, so here is the correct procedure: 1). FIRST unlock the vehicle in the normal way. 2). Simultaneously hold the unlock and lock buttons down for about 3 seconds and the indicators will flash twice. 3). Repeating the procedure will re-enable Single Point Entry. Thanks youngie for reminding me to dis-enable this annoying feature 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof. Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc. |
