FL2 Front wing vents removal

Hi all,

Can anyone help me please? I want to take off the front wing vents so that I can re spray them to tidy them up but I don't know how to take them off carefully without damaging the paint on the wing or the vents themselves.

Any idea's please?

 Kind regards.

Paul

1, remove the indicator light by pushing it forward and pulling it out then unplug it.
2, Put finger in the hole left by the light and pull, you will think it's going to break but it does come out.

You have to try and squeeze the bit that the side repeater comes out of which pretty hard with just finger power.

It does feel like it will break Shocked

I’ve just uploaded some pictures of the back of a vent. You’ll see that you have to prise them out of the wing from the bottom.

Got them off eventually. How I did not break something amazes me. They look a lot better, as does the tailgate handle, as now painted in the proper LR colour.
