Short of a garage, car port or leaving the windows down, I've started using the windscreen cover I use to protect against frost in winter.

We also leave the windows open 10mm, with the wind/rain shields open windows are not noticeable. Especially then it is 47°C outside.

I have had 3 Huntsman spiders in the car. Found then & got them out.
