We haven't had an update for the satnav DVD since 2019! Has anyone managed to source one? Or successfully made their own? |

Yes I have the Satnavi disk for 2019 - 20120. It came out in 2019 so many roads have changed since then.

The problem I see with getting any newer satnav update from a website that doesn't have a phone number is, are you really getting the latest version . Mine a different system than the DVD type it uses an hard drive and updated from a USB stick. A genuine stick is £170 a none genuine £120 I'd sooner pay the extra for piece of mind. I bought an 'updated' disc from Satnavi shop last October. It was dated 2019-2020. There is very little difference between that and the previous one. In fact some roads that were three -ish years old weren't shown on it. I did complain and was offered a refund. Decided to keep it in the end as I couldn't be bothered going through the returns procedure. |

I think that's always the problem with either the discs or the sticks, they might say 2020 version but you're never sure until you're physically in the mapped area how updated they are - as someone has said they're in a lake instead of on a main road that's been there a few years.

The 2019/20 disc will have data as at Qtr3 2018, the maps are from a company "Here" who do in car mapping for a number of manufacturers.
