From what I know, 101171 and 101172 are the same thing from chemical composition point of view.
Just different codes for different quantities.

I agree with Alex, different number = different quantities = same product. I have used it twice in my Freelander 2 gen 4 haldex. Great product, even better price. From memory, around €14 per litre here in France.

When you take into consideration the different delivery costs and different volumes in the bottles, they seem to work out about the same price - about £34 / Litre delivered Jules

Its a lot more expensive here in UK Jules
