to try and prevent car cloneing etc , yes thieves can walk around a car park and find your vin number but why make it east for them?

Why not make it west for them as well The main reason for not advertising your number plate is because it is possible to send a SMS to a certain number with the reg-number and the automatic reply will tell you who the owner is and home town. A quick check in the telefon catalogue will give you the exact address of that person. At least that's how it works in Norway. I tried this out earlier when Viking first showed us some photographs of his Freely with number plate showing and now I know his exact name, telephone number and address (if ever I should need it ). 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof. Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc. |

CosmoQuest: Sympathies as well, but can't help noticing that you have an Alaska White FL2 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.
