As a Techi - loved it

Useful information, easy to test if your car is effected, scary that a flashed headlight could render the rear light cluster inoperable. Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her
Replaced by Ewok what a mistake - now a happy Disco Sport owner

It is not just the rear lights, from what I understand from earlier you tube videos that he did it is all the lights except headlights, but it is limited to the US light clusters not the UK version.

Edit - You are correct it is the entire rear light cluster that is affected, in a new video posted today he has received a video from someone in the states that shows that it is not just the smoked lights but the normal ones as well. MY13 HSE Lux Santorini Black Gone
MY11 HSE Santorini Black Gone
MY08 SE Blue, Gone

The problem is the sales guys want star wars, the engineers want reliability.

First time buyers want gadgets, substituent buyers want bomb proof. Not going to happen.

I see it time and time again in my line of work. 10% 0f the R&D gives 90% of the result, the remaining 90% of the R&D budget gives the reliability and the first place to see the cost cutting is R&D.

I believe that the first FL2 that came off the production line were in the opinion of the Factory Manager - not fit to put his name to, and despite pressure from LR he delayed initial delivery by weeks until the quality was up to Ford standards. Halewood is still owned by Ford. We got the most reliable LR EVER. Wonder if he is still there? Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her
