Vegetable oil to clean your engine. This guy seems to know what he's talking about. No joke.

Although I already have this product in stock: Liqui Moly, injector cleaner. Could it be okay anyway?

Yesterday I ran the injection system cleaning as shown in the video above. I have to say it was a great experience. The cleaning made the cleaning liquid a little dirty making it yellow but not black, like in the movie. The filter got a little dirty, but not too dirty. I ran the engine with the cleaning liquid for about 10 minutes. I thought it was dirtier. I used Wynns diesel system purge. My FL has 290000 km. Thanks for the advices. |

Have tried to find the Wynns diesel purge that Alex recommended, can't see it anywhere in the UK. Now at the point when I learn something new something old is lost out the other side !

You cannot use cocking oil in modern engines. |

The difference is really noticeable, although the cleaning liquid has only turned yellow, but it has not turned black. The car consumes less and the engine has gained power and torque. As connectors I used those on the fuel filter. I inserted a rubber in the inlet connector towards the diesel pump and I inserted a rubber in the outlet connector. Both tires fit in a bottle with the cleaning liquid in it. On the rubber attached to the connector connected to the inlet in the diesel pump I inserted a small diesel filter to filter the impurities. The engine ran with the cleaning fluid for about 15 minutes, until almost everything was used up. At that point, I hung up the connectors and the machine started again. Really great success. Thanks for your advice. |

Well, just reviewing the topic, in preparation for getting the materials, some questions raised for me:

As long as the hose will remain below liquid level, there will be no air in the circuit.

Hello I bought it on eBay. Couldn’t find a UK seller either so it was shipped from Lithuania. Took about a week. I put the link of the eBay item in the video description. Regards,
