The signature strips are not very bright, your description sounds about right. You can see them when it is dull or dark but in full daylight you can't really tell. I assume that is why there is the separate DRL section. They're nothing like the signature DRLs on the newer RR models, which actually function as DRL. |

My XS had the optional halogen lights with signature DRLs, they were bright without being overly bright
