very stable, very capable, very comfortable and very well put together. The 2.0L 240D certainly didnt struggle anywhere although that engine is now dropped from the Defender in favour of the 3.0D i6 which is apparently much much better

See quite a few on the road now, can't get my head round the price of them though, value for money is obviously not high on LRs list of priorities. They need to make a base model more affordable but again the big buck models seem to be all they are interested in these days. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

Seeing as only 533 cars are involved it would seem that a tool lost its calibration, so probably one production line for one shift.
Actually managed to get close to a 110 version f it's big, don't know whether the windows are smaller giving a high waistline but it wasn't easy to see in at 5' 9"  my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

Bob, there's been talk of an entry level , £25k "Baby Defender" (god I hate when they put baby in front of stuff to denote smaller) in the pipeline for a while now.
I quite like these renderings - to me it looks more like the classic Defender and looks far more rugged than the new one.
