No, it's OK. The sensor must have an open collector output and the ECU must have a pull-up to 12V on the digital input. Default layout/configuration for car (12V) electronics.

Use the schematic and verify in the same manner the voltages to various sensors as there are different "reference" voltages to various sensors.

The error doesn't quite specify which reference voltage is with problem...

I am really confused. how cand it be 12 V ? same car, differnt ref voltages. On diferential pressure sensor I measured myself 5 V when I had a problem.

If i measure to the ground , i get on pin 1 5V , middle pin 11,5 or so , nothing on the third pin (as it is ground)
If i measure to the plus side on the battery
7,5v on the pin one , 1,05 on the middle pin and 12,5 on the third one .

Truth is thats really does not make any sense , i will try to measure the middle one while cranking also

Still trying to get more specific dtcs out of it , jrl sdd is somehow not working for me , rhe offline mode kinda is but gives me unexpected error msg . So ill ask for small handy diag from my father in law .

See below a simplistic description of the input section of ECU and the output of the sensor.
In this configuration, at the connector, you will measure exactly the voltages the OP has measured: 5v, 12v, 0v.
With this kind of input configuration the ECU can acommodate any type of sensors: either 12V and/or 5V powered.

small update

ultrasound cleaned tips didnt made a diference . was able to get it running for a while with brake cleaner .. the sound of the engine was very good , no strange noises , no vibrations nothing , was running about 45 to 60 seconds .
so this means that the timing is correct , and the sensors are working right ?

i tried to blind the egr ,just in case that it is stuck open , didnt helped at all .

also was told by one guy that the P0698-16 should be related to PCM , today i will try with better diag and we will see .

im tempted to remove the injectors again and remove the tip and check thr spring and needle if it is not stuck inside .

my mistake in the beggining was that i was using old diesel after my dad - he had like 800 litres of it and after a while it clogged the fuel filter , that was the first problem, got the reduce engine performance , changed the filter and it was workign again for some time , then i got the same issue on the highway when i got lil bit low on the diesel , but got it running eventually , then when i was on the way home from a testflight of Shock Cub , the engine got some hick ups in the hill and then died on me completely and was not able to start again and the car is non starter since .

overal it only seems that the issue is no diesel comming from the injectors .

yea and then there is a BCM error B0104 or something like that , the PCM error - P0698-16 , dont remember exactly the numbers .

can it be that the PCM can prevent the car from starting ?

No its the joint where is crankahaft sensor and turbo selenoid or what the hell it is , one clip got loose and it touched the egr intake and melted .

Now i had to go for a test flight but after that i will put the car together ans take it for a testride Smile

Many thanks to you all , especially to Alex his drawwing of Crankshaft sensor was very helpful !

Im so freaking happy Very Happy

So i was able to make around 35km today with the car , few things : if the car is standing for longer period of time , check all for rust and if it is free of movement , my climatization compressor got stuck ( the electromagnetic clutch or what it is) and after like 3 kms white smoke everywhere Very Happy now i need to understand how to.fix this and if i didnt killed the copressor Very Happy

The suspension is shot , front and back also , seems that the transmission is kinda meh , right now but was fine before and i changed the fluid like 100pkm before the issue .

So far no DTC came up and only what is still on is some kind of BCM code B10A2(00) .

Also i will need to change the rubber hoses for intercooler intake as it seem shot , i can hear a whistling like sound . Should the shot hose came with some code or not ?

And one last thing , how can i change the language of the infotament .. its in italian and i would like english Very Happy
