The OBD reader should show rpm while the engine cranks, if it doesn't this suggests that the crankshaft position sensor isn't working Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her

yea , this i checked and i get a 250ish rpm while cranking .. so this is probably correct , fuel pressure 750kpa . and still P698(16) . i was searching in forums and seems like that the CMP sensor is needed for the engine to start and CKP sensor is needed to keep the engine runnin . i ordered both sensors and once they are here i will change them , only one that will be tricky is the CMP sensor - not because the coolant hose above it but because if i mess up i can damage the engine , or atleast this is in the LR manual . |

If the Crankshaft Position Sensor was working you would see about 200rpm on the rev. counter whilst cranking the engine. If yours is showing 0 then you are correct to replace it.

Fairly sure that she should start with dead glowplugs if the temperature is above 10C.

The P0698(16) error is telling that the voltage (at least one of them) needed for the digital sensors to work is missing or (16) "bellow normal".

12V on the middle pin ? This must be an error. On the middle pin the signal is present only when the engine cranks and cannot exceed 5V. |

If i measure to the ground , i get on pin 1 5V , middle pin 11,5 or so , nothing on the third pin (as it is ground)

If you're getting around 12 Volts at the signal pin, then surely this is an internal error in the ECM, or more likely a wire shorted, causing a higher voltage on the signal wire. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car.
