There are two depending on your vin number. LR007372 for manual with vin up to 9H999999

I did extensive research on net. Denso starters only two codes. DSN 1208 for manual, DSN 1209 for automatic. No mention start stop whatsoever. |

I did, that is why I was looking for a start stop starter. The same code is mounted on next generation, sport, is the same engine as on freel2. The same code for starters before 03.2009 when start stop was introduced as standard. I think that for starter is not true.

The start/stop ring gear and pinion are most definitely harder wearing, I photographed the test cycle tooth wear on that engine (and several others) and we did comparison test with standard of course and the new material lasted many, many times longer.

Yes, it can be, I'll post here if something is strange. It is the same ford engine, 22D4 or such

If it helps I have just checked my new one and the Denso code is DSN 1208 and that is for stop start. Now at the point when I learn something new something old is lost out the other side !
