Start stop starter

Hi

I cannot find the code for Denso starter dedicated to start stop FL2 after 01.03.2009. I have also a problem with The code for the clutch master cylinder. Can you help me ? In the manual writes that the starter, master cylinder and flyweel had been improved. How do I know if a master cylinder, for example is start stop or not ? My car is 2011 facelift.

Thank you

There are two depending on your vin number. LR007372 for manual with vin up to 9H999999
LR014060 manual with vin from AH000001. I think the difference is the number of teeth.

My car is a 2009and I have just purchased LR007372 which is for cars 2007 to 2010 and has 10 teeth. Now at the point when I learn something new something old is lost out the other side !
Now retired so it doesn't matter anymore.
Freelander now gone.

Not sure on the number of teeth ??

What I do know was the flywheel and starter dog were given better toughen teeth, as earlier StopStart models were wearing too quickly.

I did extensive research on net. Denso starters only two codes. DSN 1208 for manual, DSN 1209 for automatic. No mention start stop whatsoever.

I have just tapped into Google 'Stop Start Fly Wheel'

out pops

The Stop/Start system. The engineering team developed a new heavy-duty starter motor, a new ring gear, a new dual mass flywheel friction control plate .....

I did, that is why I was looking for a start stop starter. The same code is mounted on next generation, sport, is the same engine as on freel2. The same code for starters before 03.2009 when start stop was introduced as standard. I think that for starter is not true.

On my car is AH52-11001-AC. I dont know if was the original or changed over time .

The start/stop ring gear and pinion are most definitely harder wearing, I photographed the test cycle tooth wear on that engine (and several others) and we did comparison test with standard of course and the new material lasted many, many times longer.

I might be wrong, or it was a different engine maybe but I seem to recall the new ring gear was made so it would not fit the old flywheel. Regards

David

Lovely i6 has now gone, but not me......

Please let me know if anything in my post offends you, as I may wish to offend you again......

Yes, it can be, I'll post here if something is strange. It is the same ford engine, 22D4 or such
Thank you

If it helps I have just checked my new one and the Denso code is DSN 1208 and that is for stop start. Now at the point when I learn something new something old is lost out the other side !
Now retired so it doesn't matter anymore.
