We used to do a lot of laning with a D2 with a winch, nearly always 2 of us with me at the back, if first car was struggling I could pull them back and if they got through and I was struggling I could pull forward ![]() although as said very rarely used ![]() ![]() Used it more for removing trees/hedges at home ![]() ![]() my first ever FL2 and I did keep it longer than most other cars! But its now gone way up Norf |

Recently a property around the corner from us was replacing all the roof tiles. With all the rain we have had their truck with 3 tonnes of old tiles was bogged in the soft lawn.

I guess, Lightwater, that if you ever did get stuck, with all the gear you have, you could just park up, and live there until the summer came and the ground dried up |
