"capable" is kind but a stretch! Days like Saturday spending 10 hours covered in rust and oil remind me why garages charge the labour they do, but I'll always give it a go myself first and it's 50:50 whether it goes ok or needs to be towed to a professional

Full valet inside and out, cleaned and treated the leather, washed and polished outside, hard work but very satisfying |

If on the road ...... NO MOT ...... then NO Insurance, as it will be void, get it MOT'd before plod gets you.

Picked up a load of steel angle and flat bar on the roof rack (3m lengths) for my work bench project. Lots of cutting and welding planned for this weekend π Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

Well aware of this, vehicle sat on drive waiting for booked MOT. Since it haven't been cleaned for 18months thought I'd might as well give it a good clean. Turned out it took 3 days plus a morning to clean all the mud off the drive. 11 GS Bali Blue 07 GS FL2. Usually muddy. Gone Numerous LRs since 1963 |

I didn't go anywhere in mine today but I did have it's rear end up on car ramps so I could replace the two 7 pin sockets for the 13pin pre-wired socket although it still took me ages to painstakingly strip the wires and solder them together to form the new wiring loom Kind regards.

On Sunday I towed a trailer with around 5 tonnes of Bradstone loaded on it that came from a wall I removed from my garden just a couple miles to my mates farm, the FL2 didn't even break sweat |
