** Update - been doing a bit more digging and it would seem that the GX73 is approx. 4 cm longer than the AH52. That's a shame because I was going to get it for nothing!

If your car has stop-start then you need a AGM battery. Jules |

90AH is good enough if you do not have eco stop start and it is of a similar physical size, If you do have eco stop start a good battery is a Varta F21 2013 FL2 XS.

Try this firm has a good reputation and about £150 delivered Varta in my Freelander is the original one nearly eight years old still going strong.
