Hi all, I noticed the lamp in the bottom of my passenger side door was out so went to replace the bulb, unfortunately someone has already tried this and lost the end of the wire in the door! I certainly don't want to have to remove the whole door card and wondered if just the lower part which makes up the outer of the door pocket could be removed on its own, I tried removing the one screw but still seems like there is a lot of resistance and don't want to force it if I may damage it.

Do NOT pull on the door pocket under any circumstances. You will snap off lugs from the inside of the trim panel & then you will have to work out how to reattach the pocket.

It's not difficult to remove the trim panel. There are 2 screws behind the handle trim, which you lever up from the bottom edge to remove, it's tough the first time. 1 screw at the door release lever. 1 screw lower down on the door. 1 screw at the back edge of the door near the top, remove this even if pulling out the panel a bit. So 5 screws in total. Remember where they go as there are 2 lengths.

Then get under the bottom edge of the panel, rear corner & give the panel an extremely short sharp tug to free the trim clips.

If 1 or 2 break, respace them, more than that get some extras.
