Thats not the only place it can chaff on that wire, it can happen a bit further up as well.

Just my input on the video but all the FL2s I’ve seen have corrugated reinforcing over that part of the loom, would be interested to hear if anyone else has that or not. (Now Sold). 2008 Freelander 2 (Nazca Sand) SE TD4 Auto. Statutory write off & on WOVR for hail damage but still road legal.

Definitely worth a reminder - I had thought I had read that the later FL2's didn't suffer from this but I see yours is a 2014 same as mine so I'll have a look & see next time I'm under the bonnet 2014 Freelander 2 TD4 Manual Dynamic

From the video the Corrugated protection ends and the damage is above that point.
