When it happens does the battery light come on ? Does it go away if you turn of and restart ? Quite common. |

I'll check the fuel filter and battery light. When I press the pedal for the second time, the vehicle becomes normal. |

Mine does this if you put it into drive too quickly sometimes. The fuel gauge shows zero too. Pop it back into park for a sec and it wakes up and works properly. |

Yes, the fault has occurred again. Battery light is on. After waiting for a while, it ends and returns to normal. I wonder if your throttle butterfly does it when it's dirty? |

Detracts, just read this. As a new owner I have found by just pushing the start button to do a check then again with foot on brake the engine starts immediately.

This is how I was trained to start a vehicle, Ignition on, Check all warning lights, then start engine, a standard safety check on start up but it allows time for all the various control units to talk to each other. DAVE. |

I changed the fuel and oil filters and the problem is gone. |
