Normally, sticky things like these can be rmoved by using a hair dryer to heat them up, and very very very gently and very very very carefully. Mind you, I'd be very scared of removing them, and would probably ask the dealer to do this before you buy the car, as part of the deal, so it's their fault if it goes wrong.

Either that or keep them, and stop people putting scratches and dents in yours doors in car parks

Rich

If you're removing stuck on strips or letters etc. use a hair dryer and dental floss, then trafic film remover to remove glue.

I've specifically ordered them for mine. They used to be standard for all cars. Now many leave them off for asthetic reasons (eg. my current BMW 320 d). To me, practicality and common sense should not be sacrificed for asthetics. I also think they look fine on the FL2. If you weren't given the choice, you'd hardly think about it, 'Choice' gives you dilemma and stress trying to make your mind up! (like what size wheels to go for).

I went to look at the freelancer today it was advertsied on autotrader. It was a dog!!!! On a 07 reg and had more scratches than my 03 freelander! So I won't be needing to remove the bump strips!!!
