80K on mine when I started. 30K further on, and no issues that I'm aware of. Steve

I started putting 2-stroke oil in my daughters FL2 2.2 TD4 about a year ago after we bought it as I accept the arguments about the impact on engine wear of the modern fuels. I thought it seemed quieter (less rattle on acceleration). She then went away to university and filled up herself for a few months without 2 stroke oil. I forgot all about it until a few weeks ago when I was investigating the annoying top end rattle on acceleration. I restarted dosing with 2 stroke oil and it has made a noticeable difference to the engine rattling. Even my daughter noticed, unprompted, despite the constant music emitting from the wireless.

just read the last post - 93 pages!! - anyway I ran 2 stroke in my AFN 1.9 99, engine passat - when i first put it in i thought the engine had stalled at the first set of lights it ran that much smother. I did also notice an increase in MPG. I dont use it now i have a more modern diesel ASB 3.0 07, engine audi -but i do go for top grade BP stuff. Stewart

Coming back after more than 8 years with some updates. I still have my Pajero, now with 113 000 kms, was adding oil for 103 000 kms with NO issues. Still waiting for all issues I've been warned about. |

Alright guys, he talked about Brazil and I use a translator, I'll leave my humble contribution with a link to efficiency tests related to 2-stroke diesel lubrication

well my sprinter successfully managed 376,000 miles in 6 years, not a single issue with injectors, EGR or DPF ( except when 1 company filled with non merc oil ! turned out it was supposed to be an equivalent ) never trust cross reference oils etc.
