Clock springs normally get sold on eBay with the stalks/steering column electronics module. Might be worth looking for them? |

Care must be taken when carrying out this retrofit to facelift pre 2014 cars. The switch packs are wired differently in the multiplug and also the pack curcuit board is configured differently. If a 2014 specific switch pack is fitted to a earlier car the horn will only work on one side of the wheel. Why this change was considered so late in production is unclear? Maybe to enable gearchange paddles. So to clarify the Vin change point is DH371766 |

The clockspring remains the same between 2013 and 2014 types with HSW |

Ah, really? In that case I'm probably going to get unstuck, as I have a 2013 XS (VIN DH346...) but have sourced a heated wheel with the switchpacks and harnesses from a 2014 HSE. Are you saying I'll need to try and get hold of a R/H switchpack (with the heated wheel button) and the accompanying switchpack harness from a 2013 model to get this mod to work? |

Yes the heater will work but for some reason JLR messed with the switches and dash wiring on the dash side of the clock spring cassette. The cassette and steering wheel wiring will be ok but the switch pack is different which will cause the horn button to work on just one side of the wheel. So you will need the earlier RH switch pack pre VIN DH371766 |

From memory the fitting of early RH switch pack LR040352 (if piano black) £97.81+V should be sufficient to get everything working correctly |

Do you know you have DTCs, or guessing?

Just guessing, going on what StuartC said in the original HSW retrofit thread. Is it possible that MY2013 is purely plug and play but MY14/15 isn't quite as straightforward, given the changes to the switchpack wiring that LindsHansen posted about above? |

13my and 14my are electrically the same, though sometimes new software exists. ECU part numbers sometimes appear to be 14/15my specific but this is an assembly part number is the HW and SW combined.
