Firenze red

Looks a great colour and also changes quite a bit in differing light. Even though it is an old style vehicle it still stands out in a crowd. Being taller than the q3's and x3,s from the same era etc it is easier spotted in a busy car park like our Disco 3 was. Not looking like all the other makes of soft roaders gives it a bit better stance and dignity.
Also , nothing to do with the Freelander forum but worth a mention. When the snow came down before Christmas up here one of my son's men in the Renault LWB Auto 3.5 ton van got stuck getting up the road and he turned round and tried to get back to the yard up in the other direction got stuck again and the only 4x4 handy was my sons D300 Velar complete with 22" wheels and wide tyres not the best choice for snow. Hitched up and Auto on the van in neutral so better than it spinning and holding things back the Velar in snow mode, he said just pulled away and towed it back up the hill and into the yard. Unbelievable! especially as the van being a Plantfitter.com one was up to full weight and was towed uphill from a standstill ! Landrover, tow anything!!

Debadging

Quite agree over the looks of the Freely, always admired the ‘chunky’ stance the car has which makes it stand out from the crowd. Some more mods on the rear, rebadged the tailgate and fitted a hse luxury badge, inspired by a mod Taztastic did. 2013 SD4 Auto HSE Luxury Firenze Red
