He may be a buffoon in your opinion, I admit he behaves like one at times, however he has to tread a fine line between trying to keep the country safe from the virus and with the media winding up the population as to not needed lockdown and tiers, outright rioting is a very imminent threat with some of the idiots about, doesn't take much to change from raves and mask protests to a full blown riot. The wider view is not one for the media they are there to create viewing and sales figures by winding up the population and claiming they destroyed the government, it's been claimed before rightly or wrongly my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

Lets be serious for a minute, none of us has the "full facts" including those in charge, most statistics are weeks behind the real situation. They (and I include Boris, Nicola, Mark and Arlene in this) are hopefully doing there best of a seriously bad situation. There are no right answers, only ones that do less harm in one direction while doing more harm in others.

Thinking of the situation that those placed in government find themselve to be in, I recall the modified Land Rover that used to perform in the arena at shows, driving around an obstacle course. The modification was that the seats and controls had the driver facing the rear of the vehicle. Everyone can spread it - Anyone can catch it. Stay home - the life you save can be your own! |

Whatever we might think about Boris Johnson we need to think ourselves very very lucky that Corbin didnt become PM instead as I dread to think how he and his gang of merry idiots would have coped with the Covid crisis |

Running up £400bn of government debt is something that the Labour Party could only have dreamt about. Corbyn would have had a melt down if faced with the reality of actually spending that much although Diane Abbot would have helped him with the maths. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

They would have spent that on a fleet of buses for London that run on water and fairy dust, unfortunately they are still awaiting delivery from the Prince in Nigeria that promised a three month turn around...... Regards David Lovely i6 has now gone, but not me...... Please let me know if anything in my post offends you, as I may wish to offend you again...... |

Students are now apparently returning from Uni and you can't help but wonder that the numbers will start to show an increase if they don't behave.

Not a lot to ask, even of a student, given the present state of affairs surely? Get a bloody test before you travel. One student said she'd not bothered as she was heading to a tier 3 area so would have to isolate there. It was a 400 mile journey home, not getting out the car on the way there? |
