Verify the camshaft sensor. It's electrical connection and its position versus the camshaft sprocket. It may have been moved.

Probably because it makes it harder to get the engine top cover off and then that removed gives a lot more access to camshaft pully to help with removing and replacing the belt cheers for your input Sandy gone P38 v8 auto no problems, great howle from exhausts when giving it welly Td5 auto head gasket,no5 pot not uncommon but good car. 1st Tdv6s manual epb problem fixed under warranty(stealer said"never heard of this before,i suggested he looked at d3 forum. 2nd Tdv6 se auto epb 3rd Tdv6 xs auto 2008,swmbo,s favourite. |

There is a very slim chance the replacement CS is duff. Had that happen to me.

Had something similar happen to me a couple of weeks ago after my cambelt change. Would turn over fine, but not start. Ran diagnostics and came back as camshaft sensor.

Just to be clear... There is a crankshaft sensor and there is a camshaft sensor... When you renew the timing belt you need to remove the crankshaft sensor. The camshaft sensor doesn't need removing. I was talking about the later, the camshaft sensor, the one on top of the engine... |
