If you can live without the lock, then disable it from CCF and way you go. |

Alex's solution is the best idea. If you don't have the access to an indy w/programming ability, the personal knowledge, software, hardware, supply charger and must have "brown pants" , this has gotten solid reviews:

thanks all ..the override box looks good and yes I can live without lock no probs, but how do I remove from CCF etc |

You would need to find an independent garage or forum member who had a Pro Gap IID tool or Nanocom or similar to edit the Car files (CCF) to remove the lock function. |
