Agreed, though being in a tall 4x4 you tend to not bother about large puddles as much as in a small low car, they tend to almost stop as they are deluged momentary disappearing. my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

My discovery 2 was far worse at throwing water up over the bonnet and windscreen, the freelander is much more civilised. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948
