Judging by questions on here I would have doubts that the timing belt would have been changed, it was originally 10 years and only changed to 7 years last year, though it states that the brake hoses should be changed every 3 years most only change them if there are signs of degradation. despite its bling it is still an S and rather basic, keep looking. my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

the prices here are all inflated. It's a pain! If work hasn't been done, that'll be haggle material. |

I know about Eurozone prices however the prices in Cyprus have dropped apparently due to Covid as people won't visit showrooms or private vendors, in March my 2012 HSE SD were asking €18000 today they are nearer €14000 and it only has 60000 miles on the clock. my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

I checked over and test drove the car. It's immaculate and has a full service history which checks out the 82000kms.

And yes, those running boards do look horrible on a Freelander and the same goes for the roof rails. MY 09 GS manual in Lago Grey, Wood Co arm rest and side bumper strips - now sold.

roof rails I could live with for functionality but not those running boards - might as well stick half a surfboard under each side 2014 Freelander 2 TD4 Manual Dynamic

Agreed on the pointless running boards and the roof rails ruin the line of the car in my opinion for what its worth. |

The running boards, or we used to call them in the 1950s, side steps as we call them now are a marmite issue but with the shrinking size of parking spaces in the UK they make it so much easier to get in and out of the car when you can only open the door for a quarter of the way or less. They are also usefull when the other half, or domestic authority, is less than the 1.9 metre so called average height, but best of all they stop some of the mud and crud from coming up from the road and making the car dirty.
