I know it's not the same as what you are doing but have just replaced the pressure hose from the pump to it's junction with the lower metal pipe and used a pair of round headed hose pliers to grip the rubber ring and push the pipe off. Easy job with the pliers. |

I have ordered that hose today because I couldn’t separate them, I have managed to do the one from the reservoir and the pipes into the rack. I will post some pics tomorrow of my thousands of pieces that I had to cut them into to get them out. Changed the torx for a normal nut, all cleaned and ready for the hose from the pump to the rack pipe and hopefully that should be it. I would have put it in the garage if we weren’t in lockdown but as there is no rush because we are working from home I thought I would give it a go. |

I have dug up a link to the pliers I used to release the connection of the hose from the PSP to the feed pipe into the rack. I just grabbed the rubber seal with the smallest pliers and pushed up to release. Judging from the problems people have had with this connector they are worth every penny.

Yes I have thanks .........................I was advised by the parts guy to buy the double pipework if changing the top pressure hose because most people call back a few days later for the double pipework because they can't separate the two lines. As I have said I found it very very easy using the round pliers. I just gripped the bottom of the rubber seal and pushed up.
