I had the clicking in the front passenger side and no start when the steering lock wouldn’t disengage. |

Good point it could be the steering column lock too I have to check if the steering column lock disengages if I power up without starting the engine as I described above |

The radio powers up fine... Everything works as it should. It just doesn't crank. Search in the forum for the clutch switch?? |

I can only search/find things to do with the cruise control clutch switch? Is that the one?? |

The ECM decides if and when your engine starts.

I took my clue from this posting. What were the diagnostic codes recorded and in what order did they occur. FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011) FL2 Metropolis SD4 Auto 2014 2017- (16k - 77k+ miles) (MY2015) Metro in its 11th Year of (Extended) LR Warranty / Full LR Service History (Expensive, but Trouble/Worry free - hopefully?) |
