Annoying rattle

Like many folks, I have a hatred for annoying rattles. I have one on our 2014 FL2 that although it sounds like it emminates from the glove box area (RHD) it actually comes from somewhere in the engine compartment i think between engine & bulkhead. Before I completely dismantle the car completely does anyone have any ideas or similar problem?
Thanks in anticipation

I'd start by popping out the air intake grille on the passenger side wing and check the intake duct is secured tightly, there's a screw through the middle of it that can work loose.

IIRC you could possibly just remove the indicator repeater and get to it through there.

Just a word of caution, the self-tapping screw holding the duct screws into a plastic insert in the inner wing, this strips easily if overtightened, possibly why they work loose in the first place.

I had one that I couldn't find in much the same audible area as you. Turned out to be the rear view mirror vibrating at odd engine revs. Weird but true ... gave it a swift left hook and it's cured .

Have you checked the Air Cleaner box? Its secured and sits on some rubber grommet things underneath. They can fall off if the air cleaner is removed. I had this once after a service. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
5 x FL2 4 manual + 1 auto
