If it was repaired by the dealers paint shop did they present you with a warranty for the repair? |

Result of a botched repair job, shocking service from a LR dealer.

They didn’t have to bodge it, the wheel arch protectors as sold have built in obsolescence. They have some moulded in steel that is left exposed when cut to length. Add road salt and water and let the corrosion begin! |

I dug out all the paperwork I got, and all I had was the invoice from the service with an extra item for 300, it does not even say 'body work' just a blank.
I've seen that mentioned a few times here, but mine seem to have something like looks like Silica in the middle, when I removed the one that had split it was like white sand that came out, tho some of it had soaked up the water. theres no steel in there that I could feel |

That’s what I put on mine a couple of years ago. Still looks ok with no obvious swelling like the originals |

Had some corrosion in the same place when i bought my FL2 from where all the muck had collected. Repaired it myself, cleaned everything down to decent metal, used rust treatment on it (The one that converts rust back to metal), filled, sanded, primed and repainted and new protector trims fitted. Easy job to do and not expensive |
