The original LR fitted front O/S and N/S parts are different to each other - the N/S one is a different profile to all the other pieces.

Hi Reggie, have I listed the incorrect part numbers?

I probably didn’t put that very clearly - i was really pointing out that the nearside front arch was originally fitted from new with a differently profiled trim to the 'U’ shaped trim fitted to the other three wheel arches.

I'm with you now. I've checked the current rubber trims on my car and the O/S and N/S both look identical, so I'm guessing whoever had them replaced before used the same part for both sides, without issue.

I recently replaced all of the wheel arch protectors for £55 genuine LR parts, the passenger side front one that is different was designed to stop water getting into the airbox. |

Thanks Gundog, seems like a rather important piece of protection. Do you happen to know the part number please for this unique part? Freelander 2 XS 2013

Quick update, I ended up ringing Duckworths and turns out they're experiencing problems with notifications from the forum, so might be worth phoning up as well if you're waiting.

Just type in rubber trim on that bay thingame, endless options, instead of paying stealer prices. |
