Higher pressures on common rail on later cars (EDC17 ECU - 150, 190HP) put more strain on the belt, hence 7 years.
On pre MY2011, with older generation injection system (EDC16 - 152, 160HP), 10 years.

I just go with what my independent says, which for now is still 10 years.

This does seem to have covered a number of times before Laughing

TD4 engines were originally 10 years, then when L/R brought out the SD4 (about 2011? as CK and Jules ^ ^) that was and always has been Whistle 7 years
at about the same time L/R also dropped the TD4 to a 7 year interval

some indep still quote 10 years for everything but if you go by what the MANUFACTURER states its

early TD4 10 years
later TD4 7 years
all SD4 7 years

Now your decision is what YOU want to do 7 or 10 its your money and your decision

Thumbs Up .

For a kit that is about the price of a tank of diesel, I would change sooner than later. Better safe than sorry...

Change it. If it **CKS it'a a new engine. Not worth the risk of leaving.
