Higher pressures on common rail on later cars (EDC17 ECU - 150, 190HP) put more strain on the belt, hence 7 years.

For a kit that is about the price of a tank of diesel, I would change sooner than later. Better safe than sorry... |

I have always changed belts on all my motors at 60,000 miles |

Getting mine done next week - MY14 -but only 63000 miles . Probably keep this car for quite a bit after this expense ! |

It now states on the JLR service sheet 7 ( seven ) years.

Change it. If it **CKS it'a a new engine. Not worth the risk of leaving.
