United Kingdom 2014 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Firenze Red
Wind Deflectors fitted

I put a post on re the side steps I fitted last week, if that was a marmite choice then I guess this is the same Smile
I personally think it complements the side steps and is not just for looks (good or bad) as I now can open the windows without rain running in from the roof etc. I have two dogs so need the rear windows open for ventilation (I must change their dog food!!)
I got the stick on ones from PowerfulUK Britpart was on the box and they fitted not too bad, I also fixed the door catching the side steps at the rear by pulling off the sill cover at the rear and adjusting the bracket bolts, now all fits a treat.

Very nice too Volrider,
they go well with that colour car,
please be aware that the deflectors will make the A post wider
and therefore have the potential to hide other road users.

A very nice looking car. It just needs the black side strips (LR002791) to finish the look which reminds me... I must get round to fitting mine one warm day. Had them for probably three years now, waiting for the right day Laughing

Received this the other day. Hope it helps.

Hello,

You recently registered an interest in an obsolete part: LR002791. This part is now back in stock on the website, and is available for purchase. It is offered on a first-come, first-served basis, so act now if you're still interested in this part.

Best Regards,
The Britcar (UK) team

But if you stop the smell your also stopping any fresh air getting the the dogs........I suppose Eventually that would stop them farting though Shocked Regards

David

Lovely i6 has now gone, but not me......

Please let me know if anything in my post offends you, as I may wish to offend you again......

One is not going to be able to seal off the gaps in the car but if you can stop 99% on the air circulating from the back to the front then the fresh air coming in through the front of the car will push all the bad air out the back of the car. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

It’ll still restrict an awful lot of fresh air (and not just for breathing but for temperature control) to the dogs in the back, if you really want to seal off the smell of the dogs that much it would be safer (for the dogs) if a vent was installed in the rear roof section ala police dog van/car style.

Or just change their diet as originally suggested Laughing Regards

The part is obsolete now but I think you’ll find it on ebay or perhaps LR specialists rather than dealer parts counters.

ah... just noticed @ggb’s post above re Britcar... Thumbs Up
